DMV offices in Carson City, Henderson, Las Vegas and Reno will serve only customers who have appointments. Please do not visit an office unless you have an appointment.

Before visiting any DMV facility, please answer these questions:

Do you have signs or symptoms of being ill, including a respiratory infection, fever, cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?

In the last 14 days, have you had contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, or who is under investigation for COVID-19, or is ill with respiratory illness?

In the last 14 days, did you travel internationally?

If you have answered "yes" to any of these questions, please do not come in.

Instead, visit www.nh.gov/dmv to take advantage of our online services, like online driver license renewal, ID renewals, and online ticket pay. Please go to your town website to learn if your town offers online registration renewals.:

New Jersey

All New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission agencies, road testing, and inspection facilities will be closed effective immediately as a measure to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We anticipate re-opening in two weeks, on Monday, March 30, 2020.

All driver licenses, non-driver IDs, vehicle registrations, and inspection stickers expiring before May 31 have been extended by two months.

Most renewals, replacements, changes of address, and other transactions can be processed online at NJMVC.gov.

Headquarters (TOC) and online services will continue operations.

If your REAL ID Appointment was cancelled due to Agency closure from March 16, 2020 through March 29, 2020, keep your cancellation email. When we re-open, you can bring this email to your appointment agency anytime within 30 days and get a REAL ID without an appointment.

West Virginia

The West Virginia DMV is encouraging customers to use online services and mail-in services as much as possible. Examples of these services include driver’s license renewal with no changes (every other cycle), vehicle registration renewals, obtain duplicate driver’s licenses, registration cards, decals, and plates, obtain driving records, personalized plate searches, request a personalized plate, and more.
